There were much anticipation even before the movie was launched and there were much speculation about the title for the movie. Here  it is , A.R.Murugadoss's next venture with Vijay has been titled "Thuppaki" and Harris Jeyaraj has been roped in as the music director. This movie will have a bunch of technical experts from the industry including Santosh Sivan cinematography. Thuppaki will have Vijay will be paired against  Kajal Agwarwal for the first time.  It is reported that Vijay will play the role of a tough cop during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, this will be the second time, where Vijay will be seen on screen donning Police role after blockbuster Pokkiri. The movie will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu  and will go on floors very soon.
